1 of 50
Vehicle Description -Snow Shadow Grey with Grey leather interior and Grey carpeting, Restored, RHD, 4.
0-liter DOHC straight-six, 5-speed ZF manual, Matching numbers.
This DB5 is a very early example being one of the first 50 manufactured and one of the first to receive a ZF 5-speed manual gearbox replacing the early David Brown 4-speed unit.
It was sold new in November 1963 by Plough Motors of Stroud, Gloucestershire to its first registered owner, a Mr.
E.
P.
Fearnley and remained in this ownership until 1967.
Unused by its second owner for the next 10 years, it was then sold on and spent time with a series of UK collectors before being imported to Canada in 2008.
While in Canada, this DB5 was owned by a well-known collector, Mr.
L.
Titchner.
During this ownership, the DB5 was maintained and prepared by well-known restoration specialists RM Auto Restorations, Blenheim, Ontario.
RM completed a bit of sympathetic cosmetic and mechanical restoration work to freshen up its restoration which had been completed several year ago.
It was then a participant in several Canadian concours and awarded class wins at each event.
Subsequently, the DB5 was sold to a collector in the United States and became a resident of Washington State.
Most recently, this DB5 has been in the ownership of a good friend and client of Autosport Designs, a gentleman collector who we sold another DB5 Coupe to many years ago.
That DB5 is an original LHD example and will remain in his collection whereas this RHD example is now seeking a new and loving home.
Offered today with original build sheet, factory service booklet and various history and records, it is ready for immediate use, enjoyment and allow its new owner to drive a DB5 to the upcoming James Bond thriller, No Time to Die where a Silver DB5 will once again grace the screen of another Bond movie.
Oh yes, word has it, Mr.
Bond's local mode of transport in and around London is another Aston, this time a 1980's V8 Coupe.
As a friend of mine who is an Aston specialist in the UK has said in the past, do you expect me to talk?No Mr.
Bond, I expect you BUY!.
