Bagriculture is seeking a detail-oriented, dependable, and fast-paced E-commerce Packager for our rapidly growing company.
As an E-commerce Packager, your main responsibility is to accurately and efficiently pack and ship our wide range of agriculture products to our e-commerce and live-stream customers.
You will play a critical role in ensuring our products are delivered to customers in the best condition, thereby ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining our company's strong reputation.
Key
Responsibilities:
Accurately and efficiently package products for shipment in accordance with company standards.
Maintain quality control by inspecting packages to ensure they are packed correctly and are free from damage.
Print, organize, and apply shipping labels accurately.
Monitor and manage inventory of packing supplies to ensure they are always sufficiently stocked.
Communicate effectively with the shipping team to ensure orders are dispatched in a timely manner.
Respond promptly to any issues or discrepancies with orders or shipments.
Support live-stream events, which may include real-time packaging and handling of products.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
Continually optimize packing processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with customer service to address customer queries or concerns about shipments.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a packaging, warehouse, or e-commerce role is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Familiarity with shipping procedures and packaging techniques.
Excellent physical condition and endurance to lift heavy items.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, to support our live-stream events.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to frequently lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
Additional Assistant Duties During Downtime:
In addition to the key responsibilities outlined above, the E-commerce Packager may also be required to perform the following tasks during quieter periods or when there are fewer packages to process:
Assisting with Inventory Management:
Update and maintain accurate records of inventory, including checks for stock levels and conducting physical counts.
General Maintenance and Cleaning:
Ensure that the packaging area and warehouse are kept clean and organized.
This may include sweeping, dusting, and general tidying up.
Supporting Other Teams:
Assist other departments such as the customer service team, helping to answer customer queries, or the procurement team, helping to receive and organize new stock.
Preparing for Peak Times:
Use downtime to prepare for busier periods.
This may include pre-assembling boxes, organizing packing materials, or pre-sorting products.
Improving Processes:
Review and improve packaging and shipping processes.
This might involve identifying inefficiencies in the current system and suggesting improvements.
Training and Development:
Use this time for personal development.
This could be in the form of in-house training or online courses related to the industry, health and safety, or customer service.
Product Knowledge Enhancement:
